Among those reports, the report named "The proposed management model and results from some research on dementia care in Vietnam" represented by Mr. Tran Thua Nguyen - Representative from Hue National Hospital revealed that due to the population aging, the rate of people exposed to dementia is growing, which is a real challenge for diagnosis, cure and care. The research also gave some suggestions such as the need for improving the specialized skills and knowledge for medical teams and focusing on the dementia management for each community.

The research of Doctor Nguyen Anh Quan - Dong A University on the rate and the factors related to dementia symptoms of the elderly at care centers in Danang figured out some noticeable points including: hypertension will increase the rate of dementia exposure by 7.6 times; lack of academic knowledge and mental training will increase the rate of dementia exposure by 3.5 times and so on. According to the report, there is a lack of human resource and a need for improving the specialized skills for elderly care. Therefore, UDA is ready to collaborate to adapt to the requirements of medical centers for advancing the human resource quality.
